Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos 2013 in Durban

The Feast of the Dormition (Greek kimisis) of Our Most Holy Lady, the Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, was celebrated at the Church of Saint Nicholas in Durban on Sunday 18 August. The feast of the Dormition is a second Pascha and the ladies of the community dressed the Epitaph beautifully with fresh flowers. The service was followed by a festive lunch for the community.
