AT THE PARISH COMMUNITY OF THE ASCENSION OF THE LORD, POINTE-NOIRE

On Sunday 25^th September 2016, His Grace Panteleimon, Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon, conducted the Divine Liturgy and preached the homily at the Parish Community Church of the Ascension of the Lord, in the “Km4” suburb of Pointe-Noire.

Before the end of the Eucharistic gathering the Bishop presented the new Church Council of the Church, giving its Chairman, Mr. Alphonse Maiza, the relative Letter of Appointment. The Chairman expressed the joy and gratitude of the faithful to their Shepherd, and assured him of the good and honest cooperation to the glory of God.  

His Grace then handed out copies of the New Testament to the entire congregation and then had a meeting with the members of the new Church Council, to whom he gave paternal guidance and advice.
