Innocentios Byakatonda
With the blessing of His Grace Innocentios Byakatonda, Bishop of Burundi and Rwanda and Eastern Congo, this 02nd October 2016, in Rwamagana , Orthodox Church in Rwanda in partnership with the District of Rwamagana has celebrated the Unity and Reconciliation Week. This week is celebrated every year from 1st till 7th October. This feast has started with the Divine Liturgy directed by Father Panaghiotis from Rwabutazi. The divine liturgy has followed with dances, songs and spe...eches with the message of unity and reconciliation.The representative of different denominations were present and all of them thank initiative of Orthodox Church for inviting them for discussing together the issue of unity and reconciliation and peace in general. The District of Rwamagana was represented by Mr. Antoine Tuyisenge, the Director of E.S Muhazi who insisted that only love will help Rwandans for the real unity and reconciliation.
