Today, 26 November, St Stylianos Orthodox parish Ngondwe celebrated the feast of their patron saint, Stylianos the Monk of Paphlagonia, the protector of children.
Nine priests from three Deanaries graced the function and participated in the holy and Divine Liturgy. These included; Rev Fr Paul Kikulwe, the parish priest, Rev Fr Archmandrite Prodromos Lubega the Abbot of St Paraskevi monastery - Busaana, Rev Fr Dr Nicholas Bayego, the St Nicholas - Namungoona Cathedral Dean, Rev Fr Antonios Ssempijja, Luweero Dean, Rev Fr Stelios Kasule from St Nicholas Cathedral Parish - Namungoona, Fr Dr Cornelius Gulere from St Sophia - Kibuye, Rev Fr Athanasios Nsubuga from St Silas - Kalagala, Rev Fr George Lule from St Cosma and Damian - Kiti, and Hiero-monk Paraskevianos Ndawula from St Paraskevi Busaana Monastery.
All Saints Choir from Bwetyaba led by Srs Paraskevi and Irene, presided over the Liturgical music and also entertained the guests after the church service.
St Stylianos Orthodox Church is located at Ngondwe village in Namayumba sub-county, Busiro North in Wakiso district. It is situated about two kilometers, west of Namayumba town.
