The 1st September Orthodox Church celebrates the beginning of Ecclesiastical year (Indiction). That is why the gospel of Luke 4:16-22, describing us about Jesus Christ's first catechisis.
With the blessings of H.G Innocentios the Bishop of Orthodox Diocese of Burundi and Rwanda; Mr. Alexios a theologian from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is catechizing people of Rwamagana community.
In the session, many people have asked how to confess because most of them is their f...irst confession as Orthodox. Their questions were simple but very deep. The people were eagerly to learn the true confession.

Orthodox Diocese of Burundi and Rwanda has organized two weeks of intensive catechism. In Rwanda, there are around one hundred people from different parishes and communities who will be baptized soon.
This is Gishari community in their evening class on 31st August 2016.
We highly thank Mr. Alexios a graduate theologian of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki who dedicated his time in assisting our catechists and seminarians to catechize our people.
