"ANNUNCIATION OF THE MOTHER OF GOD AT NAKYAKA CELEBRATING PARISH.
ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΠΟΛΛΆ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ.
The Feast of the Annaunction was graciously observed in the celebrating Parish of Nakyaka Kamuli District. His Grace accompanied by the Vicar of Eastern Uganda Rev.Fr Chrysostm Koolya, Fr Lunagula Stephen(Parish Priest),Fr Panuha Emmanuel,Fr Emmanuel Mukungo and Fr John Ngobi celebrated the feast day with a Hierarchal Divine Liturgy and BLESSING of Catechist SAMUEL NNUME INTO A SUB DEACON.
A Glorifiation was also done in as act of celebrating together with our ORTHODOX BRETHREN THE GREEKS who celebrate today 200 YEARS FROM THE GREEK REVOLUTION (1821-2021). And it was graced with the Uganda National Anthem and National Anthem of Greece.
In His Summon; His Grace asked the faithful that We continue during these weeks to focus our discipline of repentance, prayer, and fasting as we approach the saving Passion of Christ and His Resurrection.
He also well wished the Greeks, as well as thanking them for the tremendous support they have always given to our Church Mission efforts."
