Fr. Raphael was born on September 18, 1982, in the Nakuru district of Kenya. He currently serves the parishes of St. George in Ngecha and St. Thomas in Kiungururia. Prior to pursuing his calling to the priesthood, Fr. Raphael obtained a degree in computers, which has proved very helpful to the Archdiocese of Kenya. He heads the Department of I.T., Publications, and Translations for the Archdiocese. Recently, Fr. Raphael has worked closely with OCMC Missionaries Michael Colburn and Meg Engelbach on the development of liturgical translations in different languages spoken in Africa via the AGES Liturgical Workbench.
