Uganda Orthodox Church - Holy Metropolis of Kampala
Today, the Bishop-elect of the new diocese of Jinja and All Eastern Uganda, Silvesteros Kisitu presided over the divine liturgy with Archbishop Jeronymos Muzeyi at St Nicholas Cathedral.
His Grace welcomed Metropolitan Jeronymos to Uganda whereas the latter welcomed him to the Holy Metropolis of Kampala. The Metropolitan-elect of the Archdiocese was celebrating his first divine liturgy since his election earlier this month.
The enthronement ceremonies will take place on 20th February, 27th February and 06th March for Kampala, Jinja and Gulu, respectively.
