On Sunday 8th May 2016, His Grace Panteleimon, Bishop of Congo-Brazzaville and Gabon, conducted the Divine Liturgy and preached the homily in the rented home which is being used temporarily as a place of prayer until the completion of the building of the Holy Church of the Forerunner and St Nicholas. He also sang the memorial service for the repose of the soul of the Orthodox leader of the Pygmy tribe, the late brother Bokale.
A gathering of the faithful followed where issues were discussed regarding the better organization of the Parish Community, as well as a meeting with the members of the Parish Council. His Grace also received a courtesy visit from the Honorable Chairman of the District Council of the administrative are of Likouala, northern Congo.
Finally, on the morning of Monday 9th May 2016, he had a lengthy collaboration with the project manager who is overseeing the building works of the Holy Parish Church of the Forerunner and St Nicholas, after which he left by air for Pointe-Noire, via the capital Brazzaville.
