"Liturgy today at St. Anthony- Ichamara, Nyeri. Christ cannot ask us to be something bigger that is impossible for us to become because He has already overcome it for us. He is asking us to endure because he endured, he is asking us to be humble because he was humble to death himself, he is asking us to be obedient because he was obedient unto death to the Father who send him for us. He is asking us to love because he loved us unconditionally and he is that love himself. He is asking us to sacrifice because he was the one sacrificed for our sins on the cross.
Today he has asked us to be the light of the world and truly yes, He is the light of the world. So being the light of the world is becoming Christlike. Let us be fruitful through Good works as St. Paul tells us in (Titus 3:14) for good works and faith will produce that light in us that will illumine our hearts and minds for the glory of God. Glory to God in all things and for all things."
