"The journey of a Thousand miles, started yesterday afternoon. His Eminence with a group of young and very energetic people went on a journey to Nandi county. This morning our mission started at the parish of St. Makarios Kapsabet town, after a trip to St. Stylianos Morongot, down the road to St. George, then further down to Holy Resurrection Serem, on to rough roads to Holy Cross Chepkakwen, around the Mountain to Kesengei and St. Marina, around the other side of the moumtain to Mugen, back up the road to Chepgundi, and again around the back road to the parish of Fr. Leondios.
The day was very busy and full of adventure and yes very rough roads. But with God leading the way all missions will be successful.
His Eminence Archbishop Makarios was successful in distributing over 250 food packs to different families in Nandi county. A mission we pray will bring great blessings and a great show of love to our fellow people, to our community and to our neighbours."
